Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kozhikode for a Staff Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Room (LDR) at Matria Hospital. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to mothers before, during, and after delivery. Their day-to-day tasks include monitoring patients' conditions, assisting doctors during deliveries, administering medications, and providing emotional support to mothers and families. The Staff Nurse will also ensure that all medical equipment is functioning correctly and adhere to the hospital's safety and sanitary policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Labor and Delivery, Maternity, or Obstetric Nursing
  • Ability to provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families
  • Proficiency in monitoring patient conditions and administering medications
  • Experience in assisting doctors during deliveries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of medical equipment and safety protocols
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
