*About the Role*

We are looking for a skilled and experienced *MERN Stack Developer with * expertise to join our client's team on a remote contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in full-stack development, building scalable applications, and integrating modern JavaScript frameworks with legacy/backbone systems.

*Key Responsibilities*

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using *MongoDB, , , , and *

Build and optimize *RESTful APIs* and backend services.

Enhance and maintain existing codebase and migrate features into where required.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, DevOps) to deliver robust solutions.

Ensure application security, responsiveness, and performance optimization.

Write clean, modular, and reusable code with proper documentation.

Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

*Required Skills & Qualifications*

4+ years of proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, , , , MongoDB.

Hands-on experience with in production environments.

Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.

Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

*Nice to Have*

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel).
