Your role, your impact

As a Data and Analytics Consultant/Data Engineer, you'll help clients turn data into actionable insights by designing and delivering scalable solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, and modern data architectures. Your expertise in data lakehouses, warehouses, ETL, and modelling will enable you to develop solutions that align with business objectives, governance, and best practices.

You'll work across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery, partnering with stakeholders to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and ready to drive informed decisions.

Your day-to-day

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data and analytics requirements;
• Develop KPIs, measures, and dimensions to support business performance tracking;
• Assess existing systems and design architectures to integrate data from multiple sources into lakehouse or warehouse environments;
• Implement data sourcing, transformation, and integration processes using Microsoft Fabric and Azure-based tools;
• Ensure solutions comply with governance, security, and performance standards;
• Mentor team members on data engineering best practices;
• Document architectures, processes, and technical designs;
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Keys to your success

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field;
• 5 to 9 years of experience in data and analytics;
• Proven experience in architecting, designing, and delivering data integration solutions using Microsoft technologies;
• Experience with both cloud-based and on-premises data environments;
• Strong skills in transactional and dimensional data modelling;
• Proficiency with data platforms: Microsoft Fabric, Spark, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services, Databricks;
• Proficiency with ETL tools: T-SQL, Fabric Pipelines, Spark Notebooks, SSIS, Azure Data Factory;
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Extra edge

• Expertise in analytics development using Power BI, Power Query, M, DAX, SSAS, SSRS, and Excel;
• Experience in master data management, metadata management, and data governance;
• Knowledge of big data platforms, column-oriented datastores, and advanced analytics technologies;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations;
• Exposure to data warehouse automation tools such as TimeXtender or Jet Data Manager;
• Domain knowledge in manufacturing and supply chain processes.
