Vice President - Finance & Commercial

Location: South Delhi (On-site at HōmAnAn)

Reporting to: Founder Director

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Finance & Commercial person who thrives in a fast-evolving entrepreneurial environment. This is a strategic and executional role that combines financial planning, budgeting, fundraising, pricing strategies, commercial structuring, and revenue optimisation for HōmAnAn.

You will work closely with the Founder and be responsible for future fundraising, and work with cross-functional teams to build strong commercial models for brand collaborations, events, product sales, and licensing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting

  • Fundraising & updates to Investors
  • End-to-end ownership of accounts, GST filings, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Coordinate with the CA and finance consultants for timely reporting and statutory compliance.
  • Prepare monthly P&L statements, cost-benefit analyses, and quarterly financial dashboards.
  • Manage payroll, vendor payments, and operational expenses.

Commercial Strategy

  • Operations & Vendor Management
  • Maintain vendor contracts, evaluate service agreements, and ensure payment cycles are optimised.
  • Track brand performance metrics — footfall conversion, sale value, engagement reports, etc.

Business Analytics & Decision Support

  • Identify revenue opportunities across styling services, decor curation, exhibitions, and B2B tie-ups.
  • Create dashboards that monitor KPIs across finance, performance, and partner engagement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CA/MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in lifestyle, interiors, hospitality, or experiential retail preferred.
  • Experience in fundraising exercise
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on knowledge of startup finance operations.
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment and handle multiple verticals.
  • Experience with pricing strategy, financial modelling, and commercial contracts is a must.

Remuneration:

  • This is a key leadership role. We are looking for someone open to a hybrid structure:
  • Lower fixed salary + High variable incentive structure (ESOP / shadow equity) with vesting based on achievement of milestones.
