  • Upper age limit 28 years, age on the day of walk in interview.

M. Sc. Microbiology / Biotechnology

Walk-in interview on 2nd January AM-1.00PM) at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar

  • Relaxation in age as per CSIR norms.

Desirable: work experience in soil nutrient and microbial analysis, Real-time PCR and Next-generation-sequencing

Emoluments:

(i) Rs. 31000/- + for M. Sc. (Microbiology / Biotechnology) scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) a selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions.

(ii) Rs. 23213/- fixed @pm for others i.e. M.Sc. (Microbiology / Biotechnology) who do not fall under (a)and (b) above.

Interview Details: The interested candidates meeting the above qualifications may appear before the Selection Committee via Walk-in-Interview mode to be held on 2nd January AM) at CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Candidates should bring duly filled application (in the prescribed format available at website), one passport size photo and one set of all certificates along with originals at the time of the interview. Duration: This position is purely temporary. This post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR - Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Laboratories/Institutes of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 06 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
