Job Summary

The Senior BIM Modeler (Interior) is an experienced professional responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating detailed Interior Design BIM models using software such as Revit. This role includes preparing high-quality design documentation, ensuring model accuracy, and supporting coordination across multiple disciplines. The Senior BIM Modeler will also guide junior team members, contribute to BIM implementation strategies, and support the development and maintenance of BIM standards and workflows within the organization. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and maintain detailed interior BIM models across all project stages.

  • Update models based on design revisions and ensure alignment with project scope and requirements.

  • Produce high-quality drawings including plans, sections, elevations, joinery details, material schedules, and 3D views extracted from the BIM model.

  • Support development of tender, IFC, and construction documentation packages.

  • Coordinate models and design deliverables with multidisciplinary teams (Architecture, Structural, MEP, Landscape, etc.).

  • Perform clash detection and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve spatial and technical conflicts.

  • Conduct regular model audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project BIM standards.

  • Ensure deliverables adhere to international interior design standards, specifications, and internal quality processes.

  • Mentor and support junior BIM Modelers in modeling workflows, standards, and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to modeling, software, and documentation workflows.

  • Participate in the development of BIM execution plans, libraries, templates, and workflow improvements.

  • Support continuous enhancement of BIM processes, standards, and project documentation methodologies.

  • Coordinate tasks, schedules, and deliverables with project leaders and discipline heads.

  • Ensure BIM outputs meet project deadlines, quality criteria, and documentation requirements.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Interior Design BIM modeling and documentation.

  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Interior Design).

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, and related BIM tools.

  • Strong understanding of interior detailing, joinery design, materials, building services integration, and construction workflows.

  • Familiarity with BIM frameworks such as ISO 19650, LOD definitions, and industry BIM protocols.

  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
