JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Technician

Department: Engineering & Maintenance

Reporting to: Shift In-Charge

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Technician shall report to Shift In-Charge and shall be responsible for: Aircraft Technician assists certifying staff to accomplish maintenance work as allotted.
• Assists the certifying staff in accomplishment of daily assignments as required for maintenance.
• All equipment which are used in carrying out maintenance activities are to be checked daily and to be maintained and kept in serviceable condition.
• Any shortcomings in the stations are to be communicated to certifying staff /shift in-charge.
• Records consumables used on the Aircraft like hydraulic fluid. Engine oil etc. have to be maintained. The minimum quantity of consumables need to be replenished as soon as they are used from main base.
• All documents associated with pre-flight /maintenance need to be sent back to main base at the first available opportunity after completion of security check.
• Communicate any safety risks and security threats related issues to AME/Shift Manager for necessary corrective and preventive action.

• OTHER CONDITIONS:
  
  Position is shift-based.
  
  Quality Manager approval mandatory before hire.
  
  Random BA Test as per company policy.
