Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process from concept to execution.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that align with the business goals and brand guidelines.
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
  • Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, art, and tables)
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Possess an excellent understanding of typography, photography, colors, composition, and visual layouts.
  • Stay updated on current design trends and seamlessly incorporate them into practical design solutions.
  • Assume accountability for the quality control of all assigned work, ensuring adherence to established standards
  • Conduct user research, usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team and translate business requirements into user-centric design solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
  • Proven hands-on experience in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Lightroom, Illustrator, Adobe XD), Figma/InVision.
  • Previous involvement in designing e-commerce websites is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a design team effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with a creative agency is preferred.
  • Proficient in translating concepts from storyboards to ideation.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and successful outcomes.
