Windows Administrator Job Description3 + years of relevant Experience as Windows SystemAdministratorResponsibilities:SystemAdministration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems (server and client)ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.ActiveDirectory Management: Manage and maintain Active Directory services including user and groupadministration, domain trusts, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and DNS.ServerManagement: Deploy,configure, and manage Windows Server roles and features such as DHCP, DNS, FileServices, Print Services, Hyper -V, etc.PatchManagement: Implementand manage patching and update strategies for Windows systems to ensuresecurity compliance and system stability.Backup andRecovery: Develop andmaintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for Windows servers andcritical data, including regular testing and documentation.Security: Implement and maintain securitymeasures such as firewalls, antivirus solutions, intrusion detection/preventionsystems, and access controls.Monitoringand Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement performanceoptimization strategies to ensure efficient operation of Windows -based systems.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware,software, and network -related issues affecting Windows systems, includingtroubleshooting system errors, application failures, and connectivity problems.Documentation: Create and maintain technicaldocumentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshootingguides.Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams anddepartments to support cross -functional projects, provide technical expertise,and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science,Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Certifications: Relevant certifications such asMicrosoft Certified: Windows Server, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator,or similar certifications demonstrating expertise in Windows administration.Experience: Prior experience in systemadministration roles with a focus on Windows environments. Experience withWindows Server versions, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, andvirtualization technologies is highly desirable.TechnicalSkills: Proficiencyin administering and troubleshooting Windows Server, Active Directory, GroupPolicy, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows -related services.
