Job Title: Procurement Executive / Procurement Manager

Job Summary:
Responsible for end-to-end procurement of all materials, fixtures, finishes, furniture, consumables, and subcontract services required for turnkey construction and interior projects. Ensures cost efficiency, quality compliance, timely delivery, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Material Planning & BOQ Management
- Study drawings, BOQ, and project requirements.
- Prepare material requirement sheets for civil, interior, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and finishing works.
- Track consumption vs. budget.
2. Vendor Sourcing & Negotiation
- Identify and onboard suppliers for:
- Construction materials – cement, steel, blocks, sand, aggregates, tiles, paint, waterproofing.
- Interiors – plywood, MDF, laminates, veneer, multiboard, glass, ACP, gypsum, hardware.
- Custom Furniture – modular units, loose furniture, partitions, joinery works.
- MEP & Services – electrical, plumbing, AC units, lighting, cables, switches, ducting.
- Finishes & Fixtures – sanitaryware, lights, wall cladding, fittings, doors, fasteners.
- Site Consumables – adhesives, sealants, screws, nails, polish, masking, tapes.
- Negotiate rates, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
3. Purchase Order & Documentation
- Prepare and issue purchase orders.
- Maintain supplier agreements and rate contracts.
- Approve GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and invoices.
4. Coordination with Project/Site Teams
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and factory supervisors.
- Track daily material requirements and ensure timely dispatch.
- Resolve any discrepancies or shortages at site.
5. Logistics & Delivery Follow-ups
- Manage transportation and dispatch.
- Track supplier delivery timelines.
- Ensure materials reach site/factory without delay.
6. Cost Control & Budgeting
- Compare quotations and prepare cost sheets.
- Maintain cost efficiency and avoid material wastage.
- Support project billing and BOQ revisions.
7. Inventory & Stock Monitoring
- Maintain stock register and daily reports.
- Coordinate with storekeeper/warehouse teams.
- Track material usage against work progress.
8. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all materials meet technical specifications.
- Coordinate with QC team for approvals.
- Reject substandard or incorrect deliveries.
9. Subcontractor & Service Procurement
- Finalize contracts for painting, carpentry, false ceiling, glasswork, fabrication, electrical, plumbing, polishing, and installation teams.
10. MIS & Reporting
- Maintain purchase register and supplier database.
- Submit daily/weekly material status reports.
- Track vendor performance.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction and interior materials
- Understanding of turnkey execution process
- Vendor development & negotiation skills
- Knowledge of BOQ, drawings & specifications
- MS Excel, Purchase ERP/Tally knowledge
- Coordination and communication skills
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech / B.Com / MBA (Supply Chain / Civil / Interiors)
- Or relevant experience in interior & construction procurement
