About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior QA Engineer to join our growing product team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and executing test cases, performing manual and automation testing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and document comprehensive test cases using Playwright.
  • Perform manual and automated API testing using Postman, ensuring adherence to API specifications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify, track, and resolve defects through JIRA, improving overall product quality.
  • Participate actively in Agile sprints, ensuring QA deliverables are completed within sprint timelines.
  • Create and maintain end-to-end automation scripts using BDD frameworks.
  • Integrate test execution with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for seamless test automation (good to have).
  • Conduct root cause analysis of support issues to enhance product stability.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for test cases, bug reports, and test results to ensure transparency in QA processes.
  • Uphold QA best practices and contribute to continuous improvement in testing standards and procedures.

Required Skills & Technologies:

  • Playwright for automation testing
  • Postman for REST API testing
  • JIRA for test case and defect management
  • BDD and Rest Assured for automation frameworks
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins (good to have)
  • Knowledge of Appium for mobile testing (optional)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
