Job Summary:
Order Engineering Engineer is responsible for reviewing order requirements and preparing the bill of material in line with the requirements specified by customer and inside sales.

*In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:*

  • Review incoming orders according to established guidelines.
  • Check requirements in the Specification sheets, Delivery documents and other customer documents and ensure that the product selection is matching with these requirements.
  • Verify options specified are compatible with the selected product model.
  • Ensure special instructions in the order and/or attachments are brought together in the BOM in line with Oracle guidelines.
  • Submit requests to product engineering teams for new products or parts. Follow up with the product engineering team to ensure that inputs are received as per dedication.
  • Create special product structures to meet special construction.
  • Co-ordinate with Inside sales team to resolve/clarify issues associated with orders.
  • Raise issues to team leader in a timely manner to ensure that items are released to production without delay.
  • Process new orders and change orders within the lead times specified as part of service level requirements while maintaining the Right-First-Time target level.
  • Proficiency and visualization skills to create the correct bill of material with specification.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Prior experience of working in Oracle will be an advantage.
