Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for the position of Chief Cook. The Chief Cook will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation, and managing the kitchen team. Primary tasks include planning menus, maintaining food quality, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations, and collaborating with management to meet customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Culinary Arts, including food preparation, recipe development, and plating
• Strong skills in Kitchen Management, Team Leadership, and Staff Training
• Knowledge of Food Safety, Hygiene Standards, and Kitchen Equipment Maintenance
• Proficiency in Menu Planning and Inventory Management
• Effective Communication, Time Management, and Problem-Solving abilities
• Culinary certification or equivalent work experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in a hospitality-focused kitchen is highly desirable
