About The Team & Business Line
BI and Data Science Team is a key business support function that offers the instruments for optimal data usage, business insights generation and process optimization, through its experienced Data Analysts.

As a BI Analyst, you will know all our key data in and out, you will collaborate with different business lines to understand what are the business processes and expectations, and how data could support and improve their activity, you will implement the needed tools to ensure automation and increase data availability.

You will be performing data analysis, data reporting and data presentation, you will make sure the right solutions and answers are provided, and you will play a pivotal role in the overall data landscape in Citco.

Responsibilities
Your Role:

• Autonomy in organizing tasks, ensuring the deadlines are met and delivery is according to established objectives
• Comply with the delivery process from understanding, the requirements, implementing the right solutions, documentation, defining the data model, keeping the glossary up to date, performing testing, ensuring workflow is up to date
• Making sure the solutions are tailored to the needs and following the general data principles
• Covering requirements from all data areas and purposes: business, regulatory, risk, process performance, data quality, data governance
• Play a consultant role whenever data is involved and come up with out of the box solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation and process standards are fulfilled
• Provide periodical updates to management over the activity and achievements
• Ensure team communication and cross trainning
• Support the data literacy progress across the business counterparties and any other initiatives

Qualifications
About You:

• Must have an academic background and working level;
• Ability to problem solve data requirements, working through request in a clear and methodical way;
• Proven analytical skills, to assist the business on reviewing and presenting the data in a clear and professional manner; ease in finding the right solution and play a consultant role
• Experience in QLIK, Power BI , Python, R or equivalent BI and data analytics tools
• Excellent data mining skills and ease in working with data in different formats: Excel, SQL, Access, etc.
• Ability to communicate to various levels of the business in a clear and effective manner; Good presentation skills – both verbal and written.
• Ability to zoom in and out depending on the counterparty – IT, Business people, Data savvy persons.
• Preferred experience in financial service industry, consultancy or aligned function;
• Strong quantitative skills;
• Research and analytical skills;
• Good project management skills and being able to structure and organize and plan the activity and deadlines both for himself and the team
• Very good people skills
• Strong communicative and interpersonal skills (in English);
• Ability to work independently and to liaise with other departments;
• Masters degree in data analytics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics would be an asset.
