Java Developer - Spring Boot & Microservices

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architectures. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in Java development, with strong knowledge in Java Core, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, and SQL databases. This role requires building scalable and high-performance applications.

Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java Core and object-oriented programming.
• Strong experience with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Hibernate for ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).
• Familiarity with RESTful web services and SOAP.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Overall Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Write unit tests and conduct integration testing to ensure code quality.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

• Frameworks and Technologies: Spring Framework (including Spring Boot) & Hibernate
• Web Services: RESTful services & SOAP (optional)
• Databases: SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Development Tools: Version control systems (e.g., Git) & Build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle)

Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proven experience in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress and blockers.
• Collaborate with product managers and other developers to gather requirements.
• Develop, test, and deploy Java applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
• Monitor and enhance the application performance.
• Maintain documentation related to development processes and codebases.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Java development or associated technologies are a plus.
