  • Inventory management: Maintaining accurate stock levels by verifying, organizing, and counting inventory.
  • Warehouse operations: Overseeing and performing tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
  • Team supervision: Leading warehouse assistants or staff, assigning duties, and monitoring task execution to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Record keeping: Documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and managing related paperwork.
  • Safety and efficiency: Implementing safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, and ensuring proper storage to minimize damage.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: A high school diploma is typically the minimum, but a degree in logistics or supply chain management can provide a competitive edge.
  • Experience: Experience in warehouse or store management is often required, with specific needs varying by role.
  • Skills: Proficiency with computers and warehouse management systems, strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure are crucial.

Job Type: Full-time
