Through the application of Agile development methodologies and cloud technologies, the Java Spring Boot & Microservices Developer contributes significantly to the organization's goals, ensuring that systems are adaptable to changing market requirements while maintaining optimal performance levels. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Create RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
  • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement best practices for secure application development.
  • Conduct code reviews and guide junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes.
  • Utilize version control systems such as Git for source code management.
  • Test and debug applications to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs into applications as needed.
  • Write and maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and architectural decisions.
  • Stay updated with evolving technologies and practices in Java development.
  • Work within Agile frameworks and participate in sprint planning and review meetings.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance through logging and monitoring tools.
  • Assist in training and mentoring team members on technical skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, specifically using Java.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spring framework and Spring Boot.
  • Experience in building microservices and RESTful web services.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid foundation in software design principles and patterns.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex applications.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks as needed.
