Reporting to Team Lead, associate will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. Associate will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems. In this role, associate will also promote best practices and internal business processes. Associate will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. Associate will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems. JOB RESPONSIBILITYDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and backend components, often using Spring Boot. Implement and integrate core AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS into the application architecture. Strong skills in Java 8 Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs Understanding of SQL and experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, and Lambda. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring quality and performance. Work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications and contribute to resolving issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and best practices. Create and maintain documentation for developed applications and systems. Adapt to new tools, technologies, and best practices in cloud-based software development. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to develop data strategies and ensure alignment with business goals. Should understand and have operating experience with Agile delivery model QUALIFICATIONFull time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers) Bachelor's degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. EXPERIENCEHands-on experience in Java, AWS technologies Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot Overall IT experience of 3 years SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESJava and AWS hands-on experience Excellent communication and influencing skills Ability to work in fast paced environment Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives. Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required.Should have good understand on how to write Unit test cases.
