Job Description

10-13 years of experience with Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Chemical Engineering with below mentioned knowledge/experience/skills;

Technical knowledge in control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and APC software to optimize production, energy efficiency, safety, and stability.

Skilled in alarm management and control loop tuning including familiarity with tools such as Plant Triage and Plant State Suite. Capable of driving process control improvements and alarm count reductions to industry standards.

Fundamental knowledge in process stabilization & optimization strategies, inferential measurement approaches, and advanced process control techniques.

In addition to technical skills, the role demands analytical thinking to optimize processes and reduce downtime. A Process Control Engineer should be adept at interpreting process data, implementing control strategies, and collaborating across departments. Effective communication and project management abilities are crucial for aligning process control initiatives with business goals and ensuring successful implementation.

Experience with control systems from reputed vendors like Honeywell / Yokogawa / Foxboro (Schneider) / Emerson is preferred.

Experience with tools such as Plant Triage and Plant State Suite.

Must have worked as Process Control Engineer for Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery / Upstream On-shore and Off-shore Oil & Gas plants.

Good communication and mid-level managerial skills along with core technical skills needed.
