Sr. Lead Consultant

We are currently seeking an SAP BTP Consultant with expertize in SAP ABAP and CAPM/RAPM to join our team. If you have experience in this role, we would love to hear from you. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience of 7+ Years.

Educational Background: Post graduation/bachelor's degree.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and optimize SAP ABAP programs within S/4HANA environment.
  • Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) Views for efficient data modeling.
  • Develop and maintain ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) to leverage HANA database capabilities.
  • Create and manage OData services for Fiori/UI5 applications and other frontend integrations.
  • Build business applications using SAP BTP, focusing on CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) and RAPM (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
  • Utilize SAP Integration Suite tools to design and implement integration scenarios between SAP and third-party systems.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with functional consultants, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions.
  • Stay updated with SAP's latest technologies and best practices to ensure solutions are future-proof.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8 to 14 years of proven hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, primarily in S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Core Data Services (CDS) Views
  • ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)
  • OData services development and consumption
  • SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) – Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM)
  • RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAPM)
  • SAP Integration Suite (API Management, Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 architecture and integration points.
  • Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile development practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience managing projects within an agile environment
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or relevant degree

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in SAP ABAP S/4HANA or related SAP technologies.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud SDK and SAP Extension Suite.
  • Knowledge of other integration technologies like SAP PO/PI.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for SAP development.
