What does the Analytics Engineer opportunity look like for you? 

You will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of interactive client, investor and operational team facing dashboards using Tableau, Power BI and other visual analytics tools. You will work closely with clients and senior stakeholders to capture their BI requirements, conduct data analysis using SQL, Python (or other open-source languages), and visualise the insights in an impactful manner. 

What you'll do 

• You'll engage directly with external clients, translating verbal interactions into conceptual end-to-end database architectures and data models—from data source to destination.
• You'll work with diverse data types and platforms, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data across on-prem and cloud environments (Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, AWS, GCP), with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• You'll design and implement complex ETL/ELT pipelines, using tools like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure DataBricks, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Python, dbt, Kafka, and Airflow, supporting incremental and full data loads.
• You'll build real-time and low-latency analytics solutions, dimensional data models, and leverage Python/Spark libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) for data analysis and visualization (Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash), backed by 5+ years of experience.
• You'll develop and embed BI and front-end visual solutions, using Power BI, Tableau (4+ years), and JavaScript libraries such as D3, React, and Node for interactive dashboards and client-facing analytics.

ABOUT YOU

• You hold a degree in Data Analytics or Computer Science, or possess equivalent professional IT certifications.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in a developer or database engineer role, with strong knowledge of dimensional data modeling and data processing (ETL/ELT), both batch and near-real-time.
• You are proficient in SQL (2016 and above), T-SQL, and the MS SQL Server suite including SSIS, with experience supporting various SQL-based applications and optimizing query performance.
• You are skilled in data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Looker, and ThoughtSpot, and have hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and PowerAutomate.
• You are familiar with version control systems like Git and Bitbucket, and development platforms including Azure DevOps and Jira, with advanced Excel skills including PowerPivot.
