Finovate is a outsourced US Accounting company located in Delhi, India providing financial peace of mind to small and medium business owners through online bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services. We are a team of real people who care about the financial success of small and medium business owners around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accounting team to deliver accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Develop and implement accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate the accounting team to maintain high performance.
  • Attend client meetings, understand their expectations, and align team efforts accordingly.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines.
  • Manage team schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task prioritization.
  • Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Candidates must have experience of QuickBooks, Xero & NetSuite.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CA qualified or MBA preferred.
  • Overall, 10 years of experience with a minimum experience of 5 years in managerial role.
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP, US Accounting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Experience with other financial systems.
  • Client Handling Experience and High Critical Thinking
