Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Laravel/PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining scalable web applications, with a strong portfolio in Learning Management Systems (LMS), Knowledge Management Systems (KMS), and custom website development.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Laravel and core PHP.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, propose solutions, and deliver results.

Develop and manage features and functionalities for LMS, KMS, and content-driven websites.

Integrate third-party APIs and services (e.g., payment gateways, video platforms, content repositories).

Write clean, modular, and reusable code with proper documentation and version control (Git).

Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.

Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases.

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed.

Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in collaboration with front-end developers.

Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and development best practices.

Key Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel Framework.

Proven experience in developing or customizing LMS (like Moodle, custom LMS in Laravel) and KMS.

Strong knowledge of MySQL, RESTful APIs, and backend architecture.

Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Strong understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Experience with or React.

Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of SEO best practices for website development.

Experience integrating SCORM, xAPI, or other e-learning standards.

Exposure to cloud services like AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean.
