About Position:

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of QA automation Architecture, with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD knowledge.

What You'll Do:

  • Strong QA Architect experience with cloud and CI/CD knowledge.
  • Aligning QA goals with product and engineering objectives. Define and drive the overall QA vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Promote a Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing mindset across teams.
  • Framework & Tooling Design Architect scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Evaluate and integrate tools for test management, CI/CD, performance, security, and observability.
  • Lead the transition from legacy frameworks to modern stacks (e.g., Ruby to Java or TypeScript).

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Test Strategy & Governance: Define test strategies for functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Establish quality gates, test coverage metrics, and release criteria.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with developers, product managers, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor QA engineers and guide them in automation, debugging, and quality mindset.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in test automation.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Introduce AI/ML-driven testing, self-healing scripts, and intelligent test selection.
  • Optimize test cycles using parallel execution, containerization, and cloud-based testing.
  • Continuously assess and improve test effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Quality Advocacy: Act as a quality evangelist across the organization.
  • Drive initiatives like TestOps, Test Data Management, and Test Observability.
  • Represent QA in architecture reviews and release planning.
