Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Technical Lead to develop, maintain, and secure a stable and reliable network infrastructure across the organization. The ideal candidate will also mentor a team of junior network engineers and NOC staff, providing technical leadership in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and network security.

This role demands a deep understanding of network architecture, administration, and engineering best practices, along with excellent problem-solving capabilities and a drive to continuously improve service delivery and security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of all network and security devices including switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, load balancers, and connectivity circuits across data centers and office locations.
  • Provide hands-on support and strategic direction for network and security architecture, ensuring availability, scalability, and security.
  • Define and maintain network standards across multiple environments, and manage scheduled maintenance activities on network devices.
  • Deliver and manage VPN solutions (site-to-site and remote access), leased lines, and other connectivity solutions based on customer and business needs.
  • Drive and own projects to support business requirements, focusing on network optimization, high availability, and security enhancements.
  • Analyze and interpret security advisories, and design, implement, and test control measures accordingly.
  • Serve as top-level escalation point for network and security incidents; ensure complete and accurate technical documentation.
  • Manage and support hybrid data center networks across various office locations.
  • Implement and manage routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, STP, VPC, and GLBP.
  • Administer access control systems including RSA, Cisco ISE, and TACACS.
  • Design, implement, and monitor PAN India Network Infrastructure, enabling secure and seamless access to centralized resources (e.g., DNS, Print, and Voice servers).
  • Develop and maintain network standards and documentation including TCP/IP schema, VLAN design, firewall policies, and network topologies.
  • Administer and manage Aruba/Cisco switches, Aruba wireless infrastructure, and Fortinet/Sophos firewalls, including regular patching and firmware upgrades.
  • Operate and maintain network monitoring systems, ensuring proactive issue detection and reporting.
  • Maintain and review network inventory, ISP documentation, and detailed network diagrams.
  • Periodically assess network performance, define optimization actions, and manage change activities.
  • Maintain change control procedures, including rollback plans and documentation for all network changes.
  • Ensure timely incident resolution within defined SLAs, managing high-pressure scenarios such as outages effectively.
  • Communicate with clients regarding network-related updates, changes, and incidents; ensure 24x7 availability for critical issues.
  • Work closely with vendors, ISPs, and internal/external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement new technologies.
  • Participate in client calls for network requirement gathering, pre-sales consulting, solution design, and execution.
  • Design and deliver solutions for client networks including L2/L3 connectivity, firewall policies, IPSec VPNs, bandwidth policies, and network access authentication mechanisms.
  • Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) testing and deliver handovers for implemented network solutions.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Over 9 Years of experience, 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking – Wireless (Aruba, Cisco, Juniper, Meraki), Switching (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper), Routing (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper).
  • 6-7 years of experience managing firewalls – Fortinet, Sophos, Juniper SRX.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, architecture design, and network security principles.
  • Certifications such as CCNP, Aruba Certified, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent are a plus.
