Job Title: Dynatrace Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage application performance monitoring using
    Dynatrace
    , ensuring comprehensive observability.
  • Build and maintain
    Open Pipelines
    for ingesting custom metrics and logs into Dynatrace.
  • Develop and manage
    Synthetic Monitoring
    scripts to proactively test application performance and availability.
  • Use
    Terraform
    to provision and manage infrastructure and Dynatrace configurations as code.
  • Integrate and monitor
    Kafka
    environments to ensure reliable messaging and event streaming performance.
  • Create custom
    SQL
    queries for advanced metrics, dashboards, and data analysis in Dynatrace.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, SREs, and development teams to fine-tune performance and detect anomalies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven hands-on experience with
    Dynatrace
    , especially setting up dashboards, problem detection, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong experience with
    OpenPipeline
    integrations and custom metric ingestion.
  • Practical experience in creating and managing
    Synthetic Monitoring
    tests.
  • Proficient in
    Terraform
    for IAC (Infrastructure as Code) related to Dynatrace and cloud platforms.
  • Working knowledge of
    Kafka
    (topics, producers, consumers, lag monitoring, etc.)
  • Good command of
    SQL
    for querying metrics and creating custom reports in Dynatrace.
