We are seeking an experienced Senior Mendix Developer to design, develop, and deliver robust low-code applications that support business and manufacturing transformation initiatives. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, integrating solutions with enterprise systems such as Siemens Opcenter, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance application delivery.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and UX/UI designers to gather requirements and deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Integrate Mendix applications with Siemens Opcenter (Discrete/Process) and other enterprise environments.
  • Develop and manage interfaces using REST, SOAP, OData APIs, and various database connections.
  • Implement best practices for application architecture, security, and performance optimization.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to overall team capability building.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensure effective version control, and follow application lifecycle management processes.
  • Stay updated with Mendix platform advancements and related technologies, including MES/Opcenter.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of software/application development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Mendix, including advanced capabilities.
  • Mendix Advanced Developer Certification (Expert level preferred).
  • Working knowledge or practical experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution (Discrete or Process).
  • Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and integration workflows.
  • Familiarity with API development, data modelling, and integration design.
  • Proficiency in application architecture and enterprise-level solution design.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or SAP Cloud.
  • Exposure to manufacturing industry use cases and plant operations.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-level security standards, performance tuning, and compliance.
  • Experience leading Mendix or MES-based programs or project teams.
