SEO & Content Intern

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and motivated SEO & Content Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support the planning, creation, and optimization of content for multiple client websites, as well as our own brand. Your work will focus primarily on on-page SEO and content-driven tasks that enhance rankings, improve user experience, and support ongoing content and SEO initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the SEO, Content, and Marketing teams to ensure content aligns with campaign goals and contributes to measurable performance improvements. This role also offers the opportunity to continuously learn, refine, and expand your SEO and content skills while working on real projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct foundational keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap checks to help identify opportunities and support content strategy development.

  • Assist in executing on-page SEO optimizations, including writing and refining meta titles & descriptions, optimizing heading structures, inserting internal links, and improving overall on-page content quality.

  • Write and edit search-optimized content, including blogs, articles, landing pages, product descriptions, FAQs, and other content formats that align with SEO best practices and E-E-A-T principles.

  • Support full content publishing workflows inside the CMS, including uploading content, inserting metadata, adding CTAs, internal links, images, and ensuring proper readability and structure.

  • Monitor and review existing content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, helping identify opportunities for content updates and improvements.

  • Assist with basic SEO audits, focusing on on-page elements, content quality, indexing issues, internal linking, and other content-related SEO checks.

  • Support off-page SEO initiatives by creating content for guest posts, Q&A platforms (Quora, Reddit), and link-building resources where needed.

  • Help maintain content calendars, ensuring timely execution, tracking, and delivery of assigned content tasks.

  • Perform research for UX-related content elements, such as CTAs, headings, page structure, and user flow improvements, to enhance content engagement and conversions.

  • Stay updated with the latest SEO and content marketing trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure all work remains competitive and aligned with current standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 months of hands-on experience in SEO, content writing for SEO, or both.

  • Strong written English with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and structured content.

  • Basic familiarity with keyword research tools (Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs is a plus).

  • Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals: meta tags, headings, internal linking, URL structure, content optimization, etc.

  • Experience using CMS platforms (WordPress or Shopify preferred).

  • Ability to analyze content performance data and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Basic understanding of technical SEO concepts (indexing, sitemaps, redirects, structured data) is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • An eagerness to learn, adapt, and expand your SEO and content skill set as you work on diverse real-world projects.
