Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Azure Cloud DevOps Specialist/ Architect with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, scripting, and secure Azure cloud design. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services, scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI, and significant experience in designing and automating enterprise-scale infrastructure using Bicep and Terraform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Azure Infrastructure Design: Architect and implement secure, scalable, and highly available Azure infrastructure solutions tailored to business needs.
  2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage reusable infrastructure components using Bicep and Terraform with a focus on automation and reusability.
  3. Automation & Scripting: Design and implement advanced automation scripts using PowerShell and Azure CLI for provisioning, monitoring, and managing infrastructure.
  4. CI/CD & DevSecOps Integration: Contribute to building robust CI/CD pipelines, incorporating security best practices and tools into DevOps workflows.
  5. Cloud Security & Compliance: Implement secure configurations, manage identity and access controls, and ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.
  6. Networking: Design and manage complex networking in Azure, including VNETs, subnets, network security groups (NSGs), VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.
  7. Containerization & AKS: Support and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, ensuring high availability and performance of containerized applications.
  8. Mentorship & Best Practices: Lead infrastructure initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and define cloud best practices and standards across teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. 7+ years of experience working with Azure Infrastructure
  2. 7+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, primarily using Bicep(and/or ARM templates)
  3. 5 - 6 years of scripting experience using Azure CLI and PowerShell
  4. Strong experience with Terraform, including module design and reuse
  5. Solid knowledge of Azure networking, security, governance, and identity management
  6. Hands-on experience with AKS or Kubernetes in a production environment
  7. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices
  8. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain resilient and compliant cloud architectures
