About the Role

We are seeking
two detail-oriented and organised Accountants

to join our team in Goa. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial record-keeping, tax compliance, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency with accounting software.

The Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate and organised financial records using accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Excel, and bookkeeping)

  • Recording daily financial transactions, invoices, expenses, and payments

  • Preparing and reconciling bank statements and GL accounts

  • Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

  • Preparing monthly/quarterly financial reports and statements

  • Ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations

  • Conducting internal audits and identifying discrepancies

  • Supporting external auditors during annual audit processes

  • Managing petty cash and maintaining financial documentation

  • Assisting in budgeting and financial forecasting

  • Providing support to the senior accounting team on ad-hoc financial projects

  • Ensuring timely filing of statutory compliances and tax returns

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field (mandatory)

  • CA/CMA in progress or completed is a plus, but not mandatory

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of professional accounting experience

  • Experience in GST/tax compliance is preferred

  • Familiarity with Indian tax and accounting standards

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP or QuickBooks (mandatory)

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets

  • Accounting software experience (billing/invoice management)

  • Basic understanding of financial statements and balance sheets

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
