Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Engine aftertreatment system (EATS) calibration development and product failure investigation. Calibration development for aftertreatment OBD diagnostics.

  • Overall aftertreatment system and basics of engine & engine peripheral knowledge on aftertreatment integrations and system controls and component interactions.

  • Working on SCR calibration development for BSVI with DOC, DPF and SCR architecture by owning performance tuning and OBD diagnostics.

  • Develop engine aftertreatment calibrations to improve the quality and reliability of products by deciding different performance tuning strategies and testing in the vehicle, analyzing the data, test report preparation, test results review.

  • Data analysis by using MDA, MATLAB, Concerto and Uniplot

  • Support to product problem solving to fix customer issues with the help of problem solving tools like Fault Tree Analysis, Root cause Analysis and 7-Step problem skills etc.

  • Experience in calibration validation on vehicle - validation test plan creation, DEF consumption validation, deposits assessment, fleet data analysis and test report preparation & test results review.

  • Plan for the day-to-day calibration activities and maintain a project tracker to meet project timelines

  • Laise with EATS supplier and other key system suppliers for system selection and optimization.

Laise with CFT like Vehicle Integration, NVH, Electricals, Performance simulation, Validation, Reliability, Plant team and Service for engineering targets delivery.
