Position Overview

Movate is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced
Video Content Quality Reviewer
to join our growing video production team. This role is critical in maintaining the editorial, technical, and creative standards of our video content before it is published across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in video production, an eye for detail, and strong communication skills to ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Content Review & Approval

  • Review videos for alignment with brand guidelines, templates, voiceovers, and background music.
  • Ensure proper use of language, grammar, and pronunciation in voiceover and text.
  • Maintain consistency and clarity across visuals and audio.

Technical Quality Assessment

  • Assess video quality including resolution, color grading, audio levels, transitions, and synchronization.
  • Identify and recommend corrections for technical flaws such as poor framing or sound issues.
  • Verify adherence to technical standards across platforms.

Compliance & Ethical Standards

  • Ensure content complies with copyright, fair use, and platform-specific policies.
  • Review sensitive or controversial topics for appropriate editorial treatment.
  • Confirm content adheres to time constraints and regulatory guidelines.

Collaboration & Feedback

  • Work closely with editors and producers to provide actionable and constructive feedback.
  • Develop and update quality control checklists and review guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement in content quality through consistent communication and documentation.

Requirements
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing, quality assurance, or production within a media environment.

Skills

  • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Familiar with quality control and content management tools.
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken) and editorial accuracy.
  • Familiarity with AI-based tools for visualization and quality checks.
  • Knowledge of digital and social media video standards.
