Role SummaryAs a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our XR and web-based applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with developers, designers, and product teams. You will take ownership of our testing frameworks, CI quality gates, and automation pipelines to maintain high-quality standards across releases.

Primary Responsibilities (70%)Define and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases

Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, E2E)

Perform functional, regression, performance, and cross-browser testing

Identify, log, and track bugs using project management tools

Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve test coverage

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows

Secondary Responsibilities (30%)Conduct exploratory and usability testing for XR interactions

Create and manage test data sets and environments

Contribute to release planning and go/no-go decisions

Monitor production issues and conduct root cause analysis

Technical SkillsTesting Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Mocha, Postman

Languages & Frameworks: JavaScript/TypeScript, , REST APIs

CI/CD & DevOps: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, basic scripting

Bug Tracking & Test Management: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr

XR/Product Testing: 3D interaction validation, performance profiling

Qualifications

Education: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.

Experience: 6 years of hands-on experience in QA and software testing, including test automation and CI/CD integration.

Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and risk-based testing strategies.
