Job Requirement

Project Role: Senior DevOps Engineer

Project Role Description: We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer with strong middleware and cloud experience to join our growing infrastructure and automation team. The role involves managing modern CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and middleware platforms that power business-critical applications for our global clients.

Work Experience: 6+ years

Work Location: Chennai – WFO

Shift: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (9 AM to 6 PM EST) – Monday to Friday

Technical Expertise
Must Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with GCP IAM & resource management, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.

Strong background in middleware administration (Oracle WebLogic / IBM WebSphere).

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.

Good understanding of networking, Linux administration, and cloud automation best practices.

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (knowledge of Azure is a plus).

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, ArgoCD, and related tools.

Deploy and support WebLogic and WebSphere middleware environments.

Automate environment provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.

Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads (Docker).

Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog, Prometheus, or equivalent tools.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security across platforms.

Support incident response and perform root cause analysis in collaboration with the operations team.

Strong Technical Skills: Site Reliability Engineer should have strong technical skills in cloud services, networking, security, and virtualization. They should also have experience in managing and troubleshooting services, managing storage and databases, and deploying applications.

Problem-solving Skills: Should be able to analyze problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions while implementing corrective actions.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication to effectively interact with team members, clients, and management.

Time Management Skills: Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
