Role Overview

We are hiring a Mid-Level Django Developer with 2.5–3 years of proven experience in backend development and system design. This role is strictly open for Ahmedabad & Gandhinagar-based candidates only. If you do not meet this criteria, your application will not be considered.

You will be responsible for independently developing, optimizing, and deploying backend services, contributing significantly to the platform's architecture and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable backend systems using Django/Django REST Framework.
• Build, optimize, and secure high-performance REST APIs for smooth integration with frontend applications.
• Take ownership of database interaction, utilizing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Supabase for efficient data management and optimization.
• Proactively implement caching, performance optimization techniques, and scalable system design patterns.
• Manage cloud deployment (Azure/AWS) processes and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to define API specifications and ensure seamless integration.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that meets high quality standards.
• Integrate and manage third-party APIs (e.g., Razorpay, external services).
• Debug, test, and independently resolve complex issues across backend and full-stack workflows.

Strict Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2.5–3 years of professional experience in backend/full stack development.
• Must be a resident of Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar – candidates from other locations will be rejected without review.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Django/DRF) and proven ability to write production-ready code.
• Expert knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and designing scalable, maintainable systems.
• Strong knowledge of Git & version control.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with or frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CDN optimizations.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) for AI-driven features.
• Experience with Payment Gateway Integrations (Razorpay, Stripe, etc.).
• Exposure to Power BI / analytics dashboards.
