About the role:.

As a Software Test Analyst, you'll play a key role in the development of fintech products that are changing the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve consulting on software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.

About the team: 

Prophet is a leading risk management platform used by the financial services industry around the world to model companies' financial business. Our team is working on a greenfield Prophet SaaS project. Join one of multinational Scrum teams on a product that offers Accounting to Insurance companies. What you will be doing:

• Develops, maintains, and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
• Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security
• Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
• Controls and manages own daily test activities.
• Provides internal quality assurance.
• Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.

What you will need:

• Must have 2-4 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Expertise in Manual testing, Postman, REST/SOAP, JSON, SQL/Relational DBs
• Knowledge of automation testing is an added advantage
• Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing.
• Knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets needs of client/business partner.
• Knowledge of basic principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodologies.
• Knowledge of primary database engines with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries to be used for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of object-oriented development tools, techniques and principles with expertise in at least one object-oriented language.
• Knowledge of functions, features and components of existing and planned operating systems and applications.

• Work experience weighs more heavily with this position than does formal education, although certification and special courses of study are preferred.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum
• Excellent Communicator – ability to discuss technical solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
• Skill of writing test cases and create documents as well will interpret project requirement and implement logic within a project according to the client's specifications.
• Ability to deliver results under pressure.
• Self-motivated and self-learning attitude.
• Quick adaptation new tools and latest testing technologies.
• Effectively communicate with clients and those outside of their role, especially when it comes to the discussion issue with development, having the ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical people.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience of Agile Scrum will be an added advantage
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
