Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kolkata for a Fabrication Technician. The Fabrication Technician will be responsible for daily tasks associated with metal fabrication and machining.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read mechanical/CAD drawings.
  • Skilled in using workshop tools: lathe, drill press, grinder, etc.
  • Mechanical fitting, fabrication, and finishing work.
  • Workshop organization and safety awareness.

Educational Background:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • ITI (Fitter, Turner) candidates may also be considered based on skill.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on fabrication or prototyping work.
  • Comfortable working with tools and materials in a workshop setting.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in soldering or electronics preferred.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of soldering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with CNC machines will be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Proficiency in using soldering tools and equipment.
