People Operations Manager

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, data-driven, and forward-thinking People Operations & HRIS Manager to own and optimize our HR technology, people data, and core people processes. This role combines technical HRIS expertise with strategic people operations leadership, ensuring our systems are reliable, our data is accurate, and our teams have the tools and insights needed to thrive.

Youll play a critical role in advancing automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions, while also shaping how we attract, engage, and retain talent. This is a high-impact role that bridges HR, Finance, IT, and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Serve as the primary administrator for HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, onboarding, performance).
  • Ensure seamless system functionality, configurations, integrations, and vendor management.
  • Own and maintain all people data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and security.
  • Oversee HRIS/ATS migrations and implementations (e.g., HireBridge to EmpTrust) and drive adoption through training and change management.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Develop and deliver dashboards and reports on key people metrics (headcount, turnover, engagement, recruiting).
  • Leverage Excel, Power BI, and other tools for advanced modeling, analysis, and visualization.
  • Maintain data integrity across systems and provide actionable insights to HR, Finance, and leadership.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify people trends, risks, and opportunities.

Process Optimization & Automation

  • Identify opportunities for automation and AI-enabled solutions to streamline HR processes.
  • Support recruiting operations with efficient ATS configurations, templates, and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with HR and recruiting teams to improve processes from hiring to offboarding.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve workflows, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and employee experience.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Act as a cross-functional bridge between HR, Finance, IT, and leadership.
  • Partner on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance, data privacy, and best practices in people operations.
  • Contribute to a culture of data-driven HR decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HRIS, HR Analytics, or related roles.
  • Strong technical expertise with HR systems (ADP, ATS, EmpTrust, HireBridge, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros) and experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
  • Experience with system implementations, migrations, and integrations.
  • Experience with MS Forms and Power Automate Flows.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and data best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to present insights to senior leadership.
  • Project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and solutions-oriented.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages.
  • Experience in high-growth, multi-state organizations.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled HR tools.
