Role & responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources (VMs, Networks, App Gateway, Storage, SQL, App Services, Security tools, etc.).
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps; implement IaC using Terraform/ARM/Bicep.
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python; maintain runbooks.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery using Load Balancers, Azure Front Door, and Recovery Services Vaults.
  • Optimize costs through rightsizing, scaling, reserved instances, and efficient resource utilization.
  • Secure infrastructure with Key Vaults, NSGs, Managed Identities, and compliance (CMMC/audit support).
  • Maintain documentation for architecture, deployments, compliance, and best practices.
  • Continuously improve performance, reliability, and security in line with Azure best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure & Services.
  • Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform/ARM/Bicep), and automation (PowerShell, CLI, Python).
  • Knowledge of cost optimization, monitoring, HA/DR solutions.
  • Experience with security & compliance frameworks (e.g., CMMC).
