Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced
Data Engineer
who can operate as an
individual contributor
and drive end-to-end data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience across Azure analytics services, data pipelines, BI reporting, and financial data models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using
    Azure Databricks
    and
    Azure Data Factory
    .
  • Develop and optimize
    ETL/ELT workflows
    for large-scale data processing.
  • Write complex
    SQL queries
    , stored procedures, and implement efficient data models.
  • Build and maintain automation scripts using
    Python
    .
  • Collaborate with BI teams to create reliable and performant
    Power BI dashboards
    and datasets.
  • Implement
    data warehousing concepts
    including star and snowflake schemas.
  • Work closely with finance stakeholders to support
    financial data models and reporting requirements
    .
  • Ensure data accuracy, data quality, and compliance with best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 7–8 years of hands-on experience
    as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Azure Databricks
    (data processing, transformations, notebooks)
  • Azure Data Factory
    (pipelines, activities, integrations)
  • SQL
    (query tuning, stored procedures, data modeling)
  • Python
    (data manipulation, automation)
  • Power BI
    (report building, troubleshooting, performance optimization)
  • In-depth understanding of
    data warehousing
    , ETL/ELT concepts, and BI best practices.
  • Experience working with
    finance data models
    and financial reporting.
