About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Data Analytics Lead
with deep expertise in
Snowflake
and
Databricks
to lead enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics initiatives. This role combines strategic vision with technical execution, playing a critical part in shaping and delivering our organization's data architecture, pipelines, and analytics capabilities.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to transform data into valuable insights. The ideal candidate is a thought leader with a passion for innovation in data and analytics, experienced in modern cloud data platforms and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the
    design, development, and deployment
    of scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using
    Snowflake
    and
    Databricks
    .
  • Define and enforce
    data architecture standards
    , governance policies, and best practices across analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business, engineering, and product teams to translate data requirements into robust, technical solutions.
  • Build and manage
    ETL/ELT workflows
    , integrating data from multiple sources into Snowflake.
  • Design and optimize
    data models
    for reporting, dashboarding, and advanced analytics use cases.
  • Utilize Databricks for
    data transformation
    ,
    machine learning integration
    , and
    real-time analytics
    .
  • Lead and mentor a team of
    data engineers
    and
    data analysts
    , ensuring project delivery and technical excellence.
  • Ensure
    data security
    ,
    regulatory compliance
    , and
    cost efficiency
    in a cloud-based data environment.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies in the data analytics ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years
    of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields, with
    3+ years in a leadership or architect role
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    Snowflake
    (including Snowpark, performance tuning, security, data sharing).
  • Hands-on experience with
    Databricks
    (PySpark, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, ML workflows).
  • Proficiency in
    SQL
    ,
    Python
    , and
    Apache Spark
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    data modeling
    ,
    ETL/ELT processes
    , and
    data lakehouse architecture
    .
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as
    AWS
    ,
    Azure
    , or
    GCP
    .
  • Exposure to
    modern data stack tools
    and
    BI platforms
    like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (nice to have).
  • Excellent
    leadership
    ,
    project management
    , and
    communication
    skills with a stakeholder-focused mindset.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science
    ,
    Data Engineering
    ,
    Information Technology
    , or related field.
  • Certifications in Snowflake and/or Databricks
    are highly preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum certification
    is a plus.
