What Youll Do
As Assistant Manager M&A Tax, youll:
- Drive M&A transactions end-to-end: acquisitions, mergers, demergers, divestitures, buybacks, succession planning, and post-deal integration.
- Conduct in-depth research on tax laws, SEBI, FEMA, corporate & stamp duty regulations impacting transactions.
- Provide sophisticated yet practical solutions to clients and ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare client deliverables: slide decks, notes, valuations, and due diligence reports.
- Build relationships with clients and advisors while spotting opportunities to add value.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
What Were Looking For
- CA with 23 years PQE in a Big 4 (M&A/Tax/Transaction Advisory team).
- Strong knowledge of Income-tax Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations, Company Law, Stamp Duty Laws.
- Ability to handle number crunching + strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication skillscomfortable with client interactions.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to grow faster than the corporate ladder allows.
