The Elevation Academy is a growing online music institute dedicated to making classical and fusion music learning accessible, engaging, and personalized for students across India and beyond. We focus on nurturing both technical skills and creative expression through one-on-one and group sessions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Hindustani Classical Vocal Instructor to conduct engaging online classes for students of various age groups. The instructor should have a strong foundation in classical music, good communication skills, and a student-friendly approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online Hindustani Classical Vocal classes (individual and/or group sessions).
• Teach concepts such as Swar, Alankar, Raag, Taal, and Bandish systematically.
• Guide students in voice culture, Riyaz routines, and performance techniques.
• Assess student progress and share feedback regularly.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with The Elevation Academy's curriculum.
• Maintain class discipline and ensure an enjoyable learning environment.
• Coordinate with the admin team for scheduling and student updates.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Hindustani Classical Music (Vishnu Digambar/Bhatkhande paddhati preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching or performing experience (online or offline).
• Ability to teach students from beginner to intermediate levels.
• Proficiency in Tanpura, Alankars, Raag structure, and basic rhythm cycles (Taal).
• Comfortable with online teaching platforms (Zoom/Google Meet).
• Good communication skills and a patient teaching style.

• Based on experience and class schedule (per class or monthly basis).
• Incentives for long-term batches and excellent student feedback.
