About The Opportunity
Hospitality — Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) / Food & Beverage operations recruiting on-site retail and back-of-house talent across India. This hands-on role blends front-of-house cashier responsibilities with back-of-house stock and storeroom management to ensure smooth daily service and stringent inventory control.

Role & Responsibilities

• Operate POS terminals and process customer payments accurately—cash, cards and digital wallets—while maintaining drawer integrity and completing end-of-shift cash reconciliation.
• Receive and inspect supplier deliveries: verify quantities, quality, and invoices; record receipts in inventory logs or systems and ensure correct storage.
• Maintain inventory controls—conduct regular stock counts, FIFO rotation, expiry checks and cycle counts; identify and report variances promptly.
• Organise and maintain storeroom / dry & cold storage areas with clear labeling, bin management and temperature checks to meet food-safety standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen, purchasing and duty managers to trigger reorder alerts, minimise stockouts and reduce food waste.
• Support front-of-house during peak hours, resolve payment/customer queries, follow cash & shrinkage prevention procedures and escalate discrepancies.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

• 1–3 years' experience in QSR / restaurant cashier or storekeeper role with proven cash-handling and inventory responsibilities.
• Comfortable using POS systems and performing accurate end-of-day cash reconciliations; basic MS Excel or inventory-software familiarity.
• Practical knowledge of FIFO, stock rotation, expiry monitoring and basic stock reconciliation techniques.

Preferred

• Food-safety or food-handler certification (FSSAI) and experience following hygiene & temperature-control protocols.
• Exposure to ERP/inventory systems, supplier invoice handling and basic GST invoice awareness.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and peak-periods.
