Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mivan Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of Mivan shuttering (aluminum formwork) systems in residential, commercial, or infrastructure construction projects. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the Mivan system and its application in high-rise or mass housing projects, ensuring timely execution, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
- Supervise & execute Mivan shuttering work as per project drawings and specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and installation of the aluminum formwork system.
- Coordinate with structural and architectural teams to resolve design conflicts.
- Conduct quality checks on Mivan formwork assembly and dismantling.
- Plan manpower, materials, and equipment required for formwork activities.
- Maintain daily progress reports and submit updates to the project manager.
- Train and guide junior engineers and site labor in Mivan techniques.
- Monitor the safe use of equipment and formwork tools on site.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and other engineering staff.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, cost controls, and safety norms.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 3 -15 years of hands-on experience with Mivan or similar aluminum formwork systems.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, site execution, and finishing works.
- Familiarity with project management tools and reporting practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
