Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inquiry and Tender Management: Register and track all inquiries and tenders received via Outlook, ensuring timely and organized responses.
  • Vendor Coordination: Initiate inquiries with various vendors to obtain competitive quotations, aiming to reduce overall project costs through effective sourcing.
  • BOQ and Costing: Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and comprehensive costing sheets to support offer and tender submissions.
  • Technical Design: Design systems that meet client requirements
  • Client Engagement: Lead technical meetings with clients to present proposals, supported by detailed drawings and technical documentation.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive records of all inquiries, updating their status regularly to reflect current progress.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Proven experience in cost estimation, particularly within the HVAC or related industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, and familiarity with estimation software and tools.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple inquiries and projects simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
