Job Description

Requirement for a Senior Data/ETL Architect with 15+ years of experience typically demands deep leadership in designing complex data architectures,

overseeing enterprise data strategy, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, along with hands-on proficiency in modern and traditional data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and management of robust, scalable data architectures for large enterprises.

Oversee enterprise-wide data governance, data modeling, and integration strategies.

Drive data quality standards, architecture assessments, and solution evaluation across portfolios.

Direct teams and stakeholders to align data architecture with business growth and regulatory compliance.

best practices for data retention, lineage, metadata management, master data management, and security.

Mentor architects, developers, and cross-functional teams in advanced data solutions and architecture frameworks.

Required Skills and Expertise

15+ years in data architecture, data management, and enterprise-level solution design.

Strong Knowledge-on expertise in ETL/ELT tools (e.g., SAP BODS, Informatica, GCP, etc.).

Experience designing data solutions on cloud platforms (GCP,Salesforce,AWS, Azure), data lakes, data warehouses, and virtualization technologies.

Strong background in database design, integration patterns, ETL, data warehousing (e.g., Oracle, SQL, Big Data ecosystems).

Advanced SQL and performance tuning experience across relational and cloud databases (Oracle, SQL Server,BigQuery,My SQL,PostgresQL etc.).

Familiarity with industry certifications (e.g., Oracle,GCP ,AWS ,Microsoft) and governance tools.

Deep understanding of APIs, messaging systems, and real-time/streaming solutions (pub/sub, Kafka, Event Hub,etc..)

Knowledge in advanced data modeling and large, complex database environments, as well as modern analytics (BI, ML).

Strong scripting skills in Python or Shell for automation.

Experience with data security, access policies, PII compliance, and encryption strategies

Leadership and Strategy

Proven track record in steering cross-functional teams, influencing organization-wide data strategies, and ensuring cost optimization of data platforms.

Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
