Role Description

This is a contract role for a Web Application Security Specialist located on-site in Bengaluru. The role involves ensuring the security of web applications by performing thorough security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing appropriate security controls. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application and network security practices. Responsibilities include monitoring threats, developing security protocols, and addressing cybersecurity challenges effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Web Application Security and Application Security
  • Experience with Web Applications and Network Security
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity strategies and practices
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
