MEP CAD Draughtsman

Responsibilities
  • Create detailed MEP drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD/Revit or other relevant drafting software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as needed.
  • Ensure that drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.
  • Having better understanding of MEP Design.
  • Communicate effectively with other drafting team members to maintain consistency and accuracy across all drawings.
  • Keep track of revisions and updates to MEP drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to MEP drawings.
  • Conduct self-reviews and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of MEP drawings.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of any discrepancies or issues in the drawings.
  • Collect initial drawings, calculations and design ideas from engineers, and complete initial design drawing for review and modification.
  • Preparation and validation of the BOQ
Qualifications

Education

  • Full time Diploma/ITI in any of MEP trade

GeneralExperience:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience

Technical Experience:

  • Should be aware of the codes and standards like NBC, IS, NFPA, ASHRAE etc.
  • Well versed with all the AutoCAD versions
  • Should be familiar with Navisworks
