Job Title : API Backend Engineer

Location: Pune

Experience: 8+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using
    Java
    and
    Spring Boot
    .
  • Build and enhance
    RESTful APIs
    to support web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions.
  • Implement best practices for API security, performance, and reliability.
  • Work with
    relational and/or NoSQL databases
    to design efficient data models and queries.
  • Integrate
    messaging systems
    (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, etc.) for asynchronous communication.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing backend components.
  • Stay updated with new backend technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Programming Language:
    Java (Core Java, Java 8+ preferred)
  • Framework:
    Spring Boot / Spring Framework
  • API Development:
    RESTful API design and implementation
  • Database:
    Strong SQL skills; experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
